* Al Meixner Music curates a rather interesting library of music from Austria, Germany, Slovenia, and many other countries. I have accrued this library from my trips around the USA and around the world and also from individuals who have contributed to this ever-growing collection in an effort to preserve these cultures. There is no charge to anyone who wishes to use the library. If anyone wants to use the resources of my library or wishes to contribute recordings, music sheets or books, please contact me by mail, phone or e-mail.
* Sorry that I had to raise the shipping charge to $4, but if anyone orders 1 or 2 items and uses an old order form to save the increase, be advised that your order will not be processed.
* Here's part of an e-maill I recently received... "Hi Al, Thanks for your reply to my email. I tried your suggestion to clean the bottom of CD with warm detergent water and tissue and it worked. No more skippng. Thanks alot."

* With the cost of gas always going up I guess many of you will curtail the amout of travel to picnics and festivals this summer. Be very selective - if the band stinks, don't go to that dance or picnic. If the lineup of bands isn't good, don't go to that festival until they hire quality groups. On the other side - when there is a good band playing a local dance or picnic, pay the money to see & hear them & buy their CDs. We must support this music or it might not be here to enjoy in the near future. Look how all nationality people support Celtic music !!! Good for them !!! I wish all people would support Polka music that way.
* I have been doing what I can to keep our music a good buy. When I issue older recordings on CD I try to make them Budget Line CDs so they are available for only $10.  Of course, newly recorded & released albums by Al Meixner Music will still have the normal $15 price just like the other labels that I sell.
* If you have a computer & are online, please check out my "online" catalog at www.almeixner.com It has many more items that I can list in my "printed" catalog and there are pictures and song titles for all of the items. Also, you just might find an "internet only special" somewhere in the online catalog.
* In an effort to reduce costs, many of you have asked to be taken off the "postal" mailing list and to be put on my "e-mail" mailing list. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
